- Unasco Pink High Density Thread Seal Tape is a full density thread sealing tape mainly designed for lines carrying steam, water, and other liquids.
- Not only is this compatible with most liquids but also with a wide range of gases.
- Being that this tape has not been stretched during the manufacturing process, it makes this a full density tape to allow a very strong and effective seal. The tape is effective across a wide range of temperatures (-450F to 500F) and prevents galvanic corrosion of threads.
- Benefits of this tape are that it does not harden or crack on the joints, acts as a thread lubricant and anti-seize. Other features include no curing time, non-flammable, and has an unlimited shelf life.
- Carrier/Backing: polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film. Adhesive: N/A. Service/Operating Temperature: -450F to 500F. Elongation: 100%. Density (high): 1.5 gm/cm cubed. Tensile Strength (high): 15 N/m squared.
