- EASY INSTALLATION: No wall plate? No problem! This Cat6 surface-mount assembly is recommended for above-ceiling applications where wall plate use is impractical or not ideal. The 18-inch Cat6 UTP patch cable connects your Cat6 premise wiring to an IP camera, wireless access point (WAP), LED lighting scheme, sound equipment or other PoE+ device installed on a wall, ceiling or any other location far from a power outlet.
- POWER OVER ETHERNET (PoE): This Cat6 UTP patch cord is rated for high-speed 550 MHz/1 Gbps communications. Supply up to 24W of power to the connected PoE or PoE+ device, and save yourself the expense and effort of purchasing, connecting and installing new electrical wiring, outlets and individual power supplies. One end features a 110 IDC punchdown connector for secure permanent installation.
- INCREASED POWER: This network patch cable has been evaluated to for withstanding temperatures up to 167°F (75°C) . This CMR-LP-certified patch cable provides a simple way to prepare installations for increased power levels without having to worry about susceptible issues caused by excessive heat.
