- The Mountain Lab Scout 2W 2-Way Radio is Mountain Lab's most bulletproof radio. The Scout 2W Radio has been designed to handle your most extreme backcountry adventures. This 2-Way Radio is built strong, with It features an IP67 dust and waterproof rating and a tough and durable exterior.
- The Scout Radio transmits at an industry-leading 2 watts - the most allowed in a two-way radio that doesn't require a license. Our general rule of thumb is that in a clear, flat area, we expect around 3km of range, however, transmit range is often dependent on the terrain you are in as interference with the line of sight will reduce this.
- The Mountain Lab Scout Radio is fully compatible with all FRS/GMRS radios on the market (including the ROAM 2W Radio and BCA radios), and can be used with or without the included speaker microphone.
